Fall/ Winter Trend Board

My first step after researching the market, documenting and understanding the data, is to illustrate and present my findings in trend boards, intended as a design guide for the shapes, colors and textures of the design season

The next step in my design process, was to illustrate and present my designs for shareholder's approval
Design steps for production
1. Design collection
2. Get design approval
3. Create "development specification form" specifying design details for handoff
4. Send to appropriate production factory for prototyping
5. Receive comments/ Iterate and relay back to production and/or factory
5. Cost and present the product

Shaq's socks challenge

This was a pre-employment challenge required by a potential employer to gage my illustration abilities. The challenge was to come up with a small men's sports socks collection for the summer season pretending it was under the SHAQ's license.
I included this section to show you a little bit more about my work experience

Part of the assignment was to create a space saving and eye catching package for single pairs of socks. The packaging had to include the sock's features and other information in a clear and informative way

Space dyed short socks

Standardized product shapes for designs
To create and maintain consistency in our designs having an organized and standardized shapes collection to choose from when designing provides efficiency by saving us time not having to redesign the same shapes over and over, this is important when working in fast design production environments, the same as using a design system, but in a smaller scale
